I just recently discovered this book. I normally check Amazon and the Dean Koontz section of the Random House websites for word on his new books. This book is not listed under Dean Koontz. It is written by Trixie Koontz, Dean Koontz’s dog. Now, I know the dog didn’t actually write it (I’m not that crazy), but she is listed as the author.

This is an inspirational book (much like ‘The Blue Day Book’) written from the perspective of a very happy Golden Retriever. This is a great ‘pick me up’ book. It has cute banter to cheer you up, completed with adorable pictures throughout the story.

This isn’t a kid’s book, but it will be enjoyed by kids and adults alike. If you want something that you pick up to put you in a good mood then get this book. All of the proceeds go to Canine Companions for Independence, which is Dean Koontz’s favorite charity. You end up getting a fun book for a great cause.

This is another cute book from Trixie Koontz (Dean Koontz’s dog). This one is clever and witty like the first one. I was let down that there were a lot of cartoons in this one instead of pictures of Trixie herself. There are some photos of her, but the majority of this book has cartoon pictures in it. The book covers what Trixie likes about Christmas, bad Christmas gifts and other fun lists to keep you snickering. This would be a great book for a kid and a fun addition to any Koontz collection.

This book is a lot easier to find than 'Life is Good', but it may disappear after the Christmas season, I suggest scooping it up quick.
