1/25/07- I'm perplexed, when I left a note in December that I was not going to update the site for a month I was getting tons of hits a day. Now that I have been updating the site several times a week I have been getting hardly any hits at all. So I'm debating whether to update the site as often.
1/20/07- I'm going to have my first famous person staying in the hotel coming up. I'm all a twitter with anticipation.
1/19/07- I was going through the site and trying to clean out some of the obsolete files and I thought I saw one marked "penis" this had me perplexed since I do not save penis pictures, let alone to my website. Once I read it again I saw it said "pens" and just like that, all is right with the world.
1/15/07- This cold makes my brain not work!
1/13/07- Does Mace expire? If so, what happens?
1/9/07- Celebrate indifference...or, whatever...
1/6/07- Why is it that people who have life "all figured out" never figure out that no one wants to listen to them?
1/5/07- I cannot convey just how much I hate snow. That's why there haven't been any album updates, you can only see so much snow.
1/1/07- Well December was not a great month for the ol' Frogg. I just had to take some time off. So I would like to apologize for my absence. But the new year is here and the sun will start shining. I appreciate everyone's support to this site, the forum, and myself. I am constantly amazed and pleased with people's repeated visits to the site and for every new person who can decipher my ramblings and even find pleasure in reading them. You are weird. But I thank you anyway!
12/6/06- It never ceases to amaze me how crazy and mean people are this time of year. It's the holidays! It's supposed to be a happy time of giving and all of that, yet people are getting killed over the latest Elmo doll and driving like maniacs.
12/1/06- Why is the vacuum cleaner setting always set at the option you don't need?
11/25/06- Sorry I'm late getting everything posted, holiday festivities and all. An interesting thing happened though, Stone and I were breaking the wishbone for the turkey. We both made our wish and pulled. The top actually split and flew off leaving us with only two sticks and no winners. That can't be a good sign!
11/22/06- Three reason's that I probably am not ready to be an adult yet:
1. I still laugh at farts.
2. I eat too much candy that I get sick.
3. I pretend I'm performing open-heart surgery when I change the vacuum cleaner bag.
11/17/06 What do nudists do in the winter?
11/16/06- Stone got one of his poems published on the Coast to Coast AM homepage! Check it out at www.altexperience.com
11/11/06- Veteran's Day. Thank you to all who have served and continue to serve. Your service is appreciated and honored.
11/10/06- Cold is the devil's tool. People will try to tell you it's heat, but do not be fooled.
11/8/06- The elections are over (Thank goodness!) and we had one of the highest voter turnouts of any non-presidential election. All over the news and everywhere people are saying that the turn out is because of the "horrible job" the republicans did. They are saying that everyone went out to vote solely to get them out of office. That may be true in part, I'm not going to debate politics, but one thing that is being ignored and has gone unmentioned is that some people may have been inspired to go vote after watching Iraqis and Afganis risk their life just to vote. Maybe people were inspired by that and realized that they may have been taking their voting privileges for granted and decided to get out and vote. But no, this has not been mentioned, for it is much more impressive that people go out and vote out of hate than inspiration and honor.
11/7/06- When regular people nod at someone they usually drop their chin down. When "tough" people nod at someone they poke their chin up, I wonder why that is?
11/3/06- I get lots of feedback saying that I talk about things I hate too much, some have even called me bitter. I'm not so much, but things I hate just seem to be more fun to talk about. Here are five things I like:
1. Crosswalk signs that count down the time you have left until the light changes.
2. Anything that has to do with cats.
3. FOOD!
4. Big hats
5. People reading my website and the feedback they send me!
11/2/06- Have you seen those new Lexus' that parallel park themselves? Why do I see this ending in disaster???
10/27/06- Is it really almost like being in love?
10/20/06- I don't understand the trends and styles of today. I'm young, I'm supposed to be hip, but they really don't make sense to me. When did we have to stop putting on our clothes? Shoes are stylish if they aren't tied, pants are stylish if they aren't pulled up and are hanging halfway down the ass, hats are stylish if they are just barely sitting on the head and askew. What's next? Will we only have to put one arm through our shirts?
10/19/06- It's amazing how what is acceptable changes throughout the years. I rented the first season of I Love Lucy and I was watching the extras, apparently the beginning credits of I Love Lucy used to be the stick figures of Lucy and Ricky climbing around a pack of Philip Morris cigarettes. They changed it to the heart for reruns. Also, there was a scene where Lucy and Ricky were kissing. It was a deep kiss where they embrace tightly. The censors thought it was too racy and cut the kiss considerably. Mind you they were actually married, yet they would not show them kissing.
10/13/06- Friday the 13th bwaaahaahaa oooooooooo
10/12/06- I think I get the most hits to my site from Ohio. Thanks all of you and hello!
10/9/06- Extraordinary is a weird term. Wouldn't being extra ordinary imply that you are really ordinary and not special at all?
10/5/06- If you haven't seen, the forum has a new address www.thefroggpage.yfbb.com
10/4/06- What to feel really stupid? Watch the kids play Jeopardy, if you get the question right- you're supposed to. If you get the question wrong, then you feel like an idiot.
10/2/06- When did a minute become a long amount of time? I hear people using it as a long time they say "I haven't heard from you in a minute!" Ya know, that's not that long. I haven't heard from most people in over 60 seconds so it really doesn't bring that awe that say, "forever" or the ever classic "a long time" brings to mind.
9/28/06- Why don't they show the bottle leaking and making noise in the Fabreeze commercials?
9/27/06- I started smoking again, I'm working on a topic about the whole experience.
9/22/06- So I quit smoking yesterday. I'm going to write a topic about this soon. I just need to work it out.
9/17/06- I remember when Legos were just building blocks, now they are just cheap looking scale models.
9/14/06- Click here to see the most boring cat fight in the history of cats.
9/11/06

Picture taken from www.edugraphics.com
I don't have to tell anyone what today is and that they should remember. Just remember what our troops are fighting for.
9/8/06- I don't go out for the whole year and now everything I want to do is in one weekend, go figure!
9/6/06- It really bugs me when people eat finger foods (i.e. Pizza, muffins, etc.) with forks.
9/4/06- Steve Irwin 'Crocodile Hunter' died last night from a Sting Ray barb to the heart. This is so very sad. I have been watching Steve and Terri since they first started out and I have always enjoyed them. Some are comparing this to the crazy guy from 'Grizzly Man', it is very different and I'll tell you why. The Grizzly Man thought he was a bear and did not respect how dangerous they were. Steve understood how dangerous animals were and did not actually see himself as a a crocodile or any other animal. He did have a deep passion for them and I know he will be missed. My heart goes out to Terri, Bindi Sue, and Robert.
8/30/06- I wanted to thank you all for your emails and feedback you have been sending in. I always enjoy hearing from people who come to the site, it's much appreciated!
8/25/06- Living near the Mint, we get brand new coins sometimes. I get a strange urge every now and then when I get these new coins to stick them in my mouth. You know when you are a kid and you are told not to put coins in your mouth because "You don't know where they have been"? Well I just want to stand their with a roll off quarters in my mouth laughing.
8/24/06- Why do people ask you how you are as they are walking away? I want to chase them down an describe every detail of my day to them just for spite.
8/20/06- It has rained roughly one time this year and that was yesterday, the one day we decided to go to an amusement park.
8/19/06- What would a shaved Chow look like?
8/10/06- How lazy are companies getting?! I saw a commercial for a movie and instead of a real website they had a myspace account. Then, even worse, I saw a car commercial where they said to 'google' the name of the company. Make a website! It's not that damn hard!
8/5/06- I am torn, I want these damn ads off of my site, but I have had them for two years and am close to FINALLY getting my hundred dollars from them. I want them gone though. I must remain focused, so close, so close!
8/4/06- Why is it not called 'American' dressing instead of Ranch? We have Russian, French, Italian. I want some American dressing.
7/26/06- 5 things I hate about hotel customers:
1. People who ring the bell incessantly or who ring it when I am standing right in front of them.
2. People who talk to me forever and then don't book a room.
3. People who get mad when we don't have room service, etc. It's a Super 8 people, not a Ritz Carlton!
4. People who comment that they woke me. Just because I work the night audit, does not mean that I sleep on the job!
5. People who try to haggle the price. We are not in Mexico, pay for the damned room or go elsewhere!
7/21/06- I love Jackalopes! What a great idea someone had when they decided to stuff antlers into a rabbit's ears.
7/13/06- I truly hate it when I have to park next to someone who parked stupid and they leave before me, so it looks like I parked stupid.
7/5/06- Dane Cook is my new hero! He is a hilarious stand-up comic whom I first heard on www.usradiox.com and fell in love with. I just got his CD 'Harmful if Swallowed' and it is truly one of the funniest things I have heard in a very long time. He's not bad to look at either...
7/4/06- Happy Independence Day! Let's not forget how great our country is. We are flawed, but we can improve. We are still the greatest nation on Earth.
7/3/06- I hated the Dixie Chicks before hating the Dixie Chicks was cool.
6/28/06- Why do we feel the need to make a pronouncement before asking a question? We say things like 'I have a question' or even ask if we CAN ask a question. I'm going to start announcing my statements.
6/20/06- How cool would it be to create a product so good that everyone calls it that instead of the normal name? I.e. Q-Tips, Kleenex, etc.
6/15/06- Flag Day came and went. That is the only holiday that I don't see sales associated with, hmmmm...
6/11/06- Dean Koontz on with Ian Punnett was the best show I have ever heard! I hope you all got to hear it, sheer genius!
6/10/06- We went to see the remake of The Omen the other day, why are little kids so damned creepy?
6/7/06- Well, 6/6/06 passed without a any huge travesties. Please, those of you who had kids on this date, leave them alone. They are not evil, but will become so if you treat them like the antichrist...
6/1/06- Happy June! Time for everyone to be all paranoid of the 6th. Just a tip, if you expect something bad to happen- it probably will. So knock it off!
5/23/06- We went on a tour of the Budweiser plant Sunday, if you would like to see the pics, go to the Self and Family page.
5/19/06- Why do some women shave off their eyebrows and then draw them back on? Do they realize that if they did not shave them off then that would save them the energy of drawing them on daily? And do they change their eyebrows with their moods? If they receive a shock do they quickly run into the bathroom, clean them off and then draw them higher? I think I'll shave my head and draw in hair with a Sharpie...
5/17/06- I have decided that Australia was the first continent to break off of Pangea and that's why they have so many animals that are not found anywhere else. I have no scientific data to back this up, I've just decided that.
5/12/06- My Q-Tips expired today, I can't say that I'm too worried about it.
5/10/06- I saw a sign advertising a "Huge Tree Auction" I wonder if there is a large variety of trees or one or two enormous trees?
5/8/06- Today I salute school bus drivers. How crazy do have to be to take this job? Driving kinds around is one of the worst parts about having your own kids, let alone having an entire bus-load of the monsters. And kids go absolutely bug-shit as soon as they get on the bus, it's like the diesel mixes with their brains and creates monsters. So here's to all you who can stand to deal with this!
5/4/05- A word on why I don' do much with news and current events. Often people ask me why I'm not covering something that's been on the front pages for days? I'm sure some think that I don't know about the event or that I ignore the news, this is not true. I don't usually cover news because you can get it anywhere. Every now and then I cannot contain myself and a little news bubbles out, but by and large I try to avoid it. This website is mainly about entertainment, although serious topics are covered from time to time. I want you all to be able to have fun here. There are plenty of places out there you can go for news. I hope this helps to clear things up.
5/2/06 Welcome and howdy to all members of my new forum! Glad you all are here and I looking forward to chatting with all of you!
5/1/06- This just seems appropriate for today: http://users.wolfcrews.com/toys/vikings/
4/28/06- Canned bread is back! I saw this stuff when I was around 16 and have been obsessed with it ever since. I have never tried it, because it looks disgusting. But the thought of it makes me happy. I just saw some in the grocery store today and almost bought it just to have some.
4/24/06- In a ten hour period we saw; hail, rain, sleet, and snow- gotta love spring!
4/21/06- Yeeowzah! I had no idea how many people visit my site! My old way of tracking just showed pages with ads on it. My new tracking device shows all hits to my website and I get triple the hits than I thought! So thank you to all for visiting, I hope you like what you see...
4/19/06- Why do actors never watch the road when they are driving in a movie or TV? They always watch the person sitting next to them. Don't they realize that people mimic movies? No wonder there are so many accidents! Watch the road!
4/18/06- What exactly does an elephant not forget? It's not like they have a lot to remember. Do they remember dates and events or just how to spray water on their backs through their noses?
4/17/06- I let Easter go by without buying any Cadbury Carmel Eggs, I think I'm sick.
4/14/06- As you all know, I have been having troubles with Comcast's web hosting for awhile. I tried to update that I would not be on this week (we took a short road trip) and could not get it to update before I left. That is why we are now at a different place (godaddy.com). Not only do I hope to solve the hosting problems, but we now have a shorter, easier to remember website address. Thank you for your patience as this change goes through.
4/13/06- Never take E-470 in Denver Colorado. It's such a rip-off! $2 every four miles!
4/7/06- Like racing? There's a new face to it and apparently she's pretty darned good. Take a look at her website for more info: http://www.hillarywillrace.com/
4/5/06- Does the wind ever blow away kids? I see dumpsters blown around in the wind, yet kids walk around just fine. I'm not saying that I want them to blow away, it's just strange.
4/3/06- Why is it that cigarettes are the only acceptable thing to 'bum' from a stranger? I'm going to start asking perfect strangers for gum, soda, and floss.
3/30/06- I won't special order a book from a store. I'll do it online, but for some reason I will not do it at a regular book store. Don't know why, but that's how I am.
3/28/06- What does QT stand for? When someone says to keep it on the QT. I know what it MEANS (down low, keep it a secret), but what does it stand for?
Same with Qs in "mind your Ps and Qs". I'm assuming that Ps stands for pleases, are Qs questions?
3/27/06-Why is the saying "No skin off my nose"? Who skins their nose? Why can't it be "No skin off my knee" or "No skin off my elbow"?
3/23/06- I apologize for my lack of updates lately, but I have been trying to build up stock for the eBay store.
3/22/06- A wonderful website that I have been going to for awhile is in need of help. The website is www.anymarine.com it is a sub-link of www.anysoldier.com they make lists of our military over seas and what they need, this way we can send care packages and letters to our troops. They are in need of donations to keep the site running. I have been dealing through them for several months and can vouch for them. They offer pre-made care packages that you can send over seas (these will count as donations), they also offer links to companies who help to gather some of the harder to find stuff for packages. If you can get your place of work to help back you in a donation, or even if you yourself can give something, it would be greatly appreciated. Remember, these people go out there and fight and risk their lives for us. They don't have the luxury of sitting around debating the war and politics. They simply do their job, which is one of the hardest jobs to do. Please help them out, no matter what your feelings are about the war or the current administration. These are our family members, friends, and fellow Americans.
3/21/06- A bunny ran out from under the car the other day and scared the crap out of me. Did I scream?-No Did I shriek?-No, not me, I barked. It was very weird and involuntary, but I barked. I guess all of those kids who said I was a dog when I was younger were right! ;)
3/15/06- We went to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science yesterday and saw the display by Gunther von Hagens. von Hagens invented Plastination and we saw the Body Worlds 2 display. It was absolutely fascinating! If it comes to your area, I greatly recommend going to see it!
3/12/06- When a place prepares testicles as food (i.e. bulls, sheep, etc.), do they drain the semen or cook it in?
3/11/06- This year seems to be going slower than last year, so far. That's fine with me, last year went by before I even noticed!
3/8/06- When are they going to focus on making women's razors? We have WAY more to shave. Quit adding blades to razors, one more and we will be crossing into ridiculous. Focus on making a good electric razor for women so we can stop stealing our man's. Some of you are probably thinking, 'but do you use Veet?' That stuff is pricey and I can't always get it.
3/4/06- Grrr! Comcast is driving me insane!!!
3/3/06- Happy Birthday to Stone!
3/1/06- I want to say hello to all the Coast Riders who come here. You deal with my postings on the board and then you come here for more. You must be glutton for punishment, but hey, I'm reaping the benefits!
2/26/06- So I FINALLY got a positive outcome from my battle with Uhaul. I know I said I would keep you posted, but there has not been much to update. They kept putting me off and passing me to other people. I had one guy who offered me three whole dollars for my entire complaint! Once I went above him it got a little easier. I still had to call back three times as I got tired of waiting to be called back. They finally agreed to credit me so I would only have to pay $13 for the whole rental- which after all I had to deal with, I think it's fair! I should have done some research before renting a Uhaul, don't believe me? Type 'Uhaul complaints' in Google and read some of the horror stories you come up with. If you think all rental companies are the same, type 'Budget truck rental complaints' in Google and you will see A LOT less.
2/22/06- Icy-Hot smells just like Pepto Bismol.
2/21/06- Just a thought, if ya buy a lotto ticket, at least check it to see if you won!
2/18/06- Thanks a lot to all of you people out there who have been griping about the warm winter we have been having. Are you happy now? It has been in the negatives here for several days. Do me a favor and keep your damned mouths shut next time!
2/15/06- Can you get sunburned on your tongue?
2/12/06-The thought of elderly people trying out for commercials just makes me sad.
2/10/06- I wanted to see what spices were in Italian Seasoning (just curious ya know), so I look at the ingredients and it says: spices. That's it! That is the most helpful thing I have ever seen in my entire life!
2/8/06- Click here to view an array of pens.
2/7/06- Whatever you do, never rent a U-Haul brand truck! We rented one for our recent move- because it was supposed to be cheaper. Well, the truck was an absolute piece of crap AND I ended up paying $85 for a truck that was supposed to run around $25. I'm currently fighting with just about everyone there to try to get the fees reduced. I should have just gone with Budget!
2/2/06- It's Groundhog day. I really need to study up on this 'holiday', I have no idea what compelled us to stare at a rodent for hours just to see if it sees it's shadow (which how does THAT part work, why wouldn't it see it's shadow as long as it's sunny?), and by that rodent we are supposed to know whether more winter weather is coming! It makes no sense to me.
2/1/06-Why does no one ever say "I've died and gone to hell"?
1/25/06- Comcast is starting to get on my nerves. They have great service, but there personal web pages leave something to be desired.
1/23/06- Man! Reese Witherspoon can sing!
1/20/06- I couldn't help but notice that a lot of people have viewed this site in the last few days, I hope you found what you are looking for :)
1/17/06-Want to have some real fun? Sing the song 'Barbie Girl' by Aqua in front of a guy until it gets stuck in their head. It's quite funny. Don't know the song? Go to the yahoo videos, it's in there.
1/12/06- You know, I had a random thought, but I just lost it. Hmmm
1/10/06- Got a free minute or more like; want to waste nine hours looking at cute kitties? Go to www.kittenwar.com where you can vote on which kitten is cuter of two. It is very addicting- in fact, I'm surprised that I was able to tear myself away long enough to post this.
1/9/06- Why do they not put Christmas trees in water but we have to after we buy them?
1/8/06- Wow, I thought that I had updated the site before this-sorry about that. I will post two pics of the week this week to make up.
12/31/05- Have a safe and happy New Year's. With luck, Stone and I should be moving very soon.
12/26/05- I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. Sorry about my lack of updating. As I said before, we are in the process of moving. I really don't have much access to the computer right now because of that. That is why you have not really seen any updates as of late. I will try to get a bit better with it.
12/21/05- Sorry, no update this week. I'm in the process of a move and I don't really have the resources right now. Go be merry this holiday season. I shall be back soon.
12/13/05- Does a frosty breath plume come out of your butt when you fart in the cold?
12/12/05- Why do people think it's funny to talk about hurting cats? I understand that there are people who don't like cats, but they always have to tell jokes about hurting them. I'm not a dog lover, but I would never dream of hurting one unless it was in self-defense. Then they wonder why we get upset. No one would think it was funny if I joked about hurting or killing their kids. Well guess what? It's not funny when you joke about hurting our babies. Also, it makes it no better when they say 'I'm just kidding'. We obviously don't find it funny so knock it off!
12/8/05- Whoooeee, it has been nose-hair freezing here the last few days. That's part of the reason I haven't updated this site too much this week. That and I've been working.
12/2/05- I loved the new Harry Potter movie! I think this has to be the best made Potter movie yet. Yes, there is A LOT of stuff from the book that is left out, but Goblet of Fire was not one of my favorite books, so I'm not really crying about it.
11/29/05- And you thought you were having a bad day...A woman here in Greeley was driving behind a truck carrying Port-O-Potties and one broke loose. The portable toilet broke her windshield and spilled waste all over her. Luckily, she was not seriously injured, but I'm sure she will win any 'It's been a really bad day' discussions that she has with friends and colleagues.
11/27/05- Do any of you out there have that Roomba vacuum cleaner? That's the one that runs itself. I want to know if it works. If it does, it has to go into the hall of fame of the coolest things ever. If you have one or know someone who does tell me about it: acfrogg@comcast.net
11/26/05- Well Thanksgiving is over...time for Christmas! I had a great Thanksgiving, lots of good food! We put up our Christmas decorations and it looks so nice. I'll probably be posting pics again this year.
11/16/05- I truly miss music channels on TV that actually played music. Ho-Hum
11/14/05- I have surpassed 4,000 hits in under a year of running the website! Thank you all for your support and continued reading of my ramblings!
11/11/05- Have you hugged your Veteran today? Today is Veteran's Day and I just wanted to thank all of you who have looked out and fought for our country. You may not have always gotten the recognition you deserved for what you have done and some continue to do for us Americans; well I wanted to make sure that you all know that there are plenty of us out here that appreciate you. This is your day, feel proud and thank you!
11/8/05- Why is there not and 'un' caps lock? Let's face it, we all accidentally hit it and then don't realize it. Do we really need a caps lock anyway? When people type in all caps it is annoying.
11/6/05- The once young-looking Jack-O-Lanterns are beginning to look very elderly. Time to take them in out of the cold folks, their little pumpkin joints are going to start aching.
11/5/05- Is Oscar the Grouch (from Sesame Street) talking garbage or just homeless?
11/2/05- I finally downloaded some music. I did it through Walmart. It worked! I'm shocked and amazed, and I don't even have to worry about getting arrested- go me!
10/31/05- Happy Halloween all!
10/30/05- the best website was brought to my attention tonight www.stuffonmycat.com, absolutely hilarious!
10/27/05- Have you seen the Wake Assure alarm clock? It's just about the coolest thing I have seen in awhile- and I have seen some cool things!
10/26/05- I would love to take a chainsaw and cut down all of the trees and bushes that block the view of the street when you are trying to turn.
10/23/05- Oh My Goodness! Rick Morrianis (Little Shop of Horrors, Spaceballs, Honey I Shrunk the Kids, etc.), you know that cute nerdy looking guy is suddenly a country singer! He has a sample of his music on his website, but I just can not take it seriously when I picture HIM singing.
10/18/05- Why is it English people pronounce hello 'ello' but they pronounce the H in 'herb'?
10/17/05- It was brought to my attention that I have no commented on the Burger King commercials yet. I think they are scary, you know the ones I'm talking about, where the scary guy in the mask appears to give random people a sandwich. The latest one I have seen shows a construction worker drilling in beams and he hears something and looks around the beam and there is 'the king' staring back at him. They should have showed what would really happen; they guy hears something, looks around the corner and sees 'the king' staring back at him, the construction worker gets scared, jumps back and falls to a bloody death. Or the lumberjack one, where 'the king' is just standing behind the tree when it falls- that lumberjack would have hacked him up. 'The king' is scary and should be destroyed or these people should at least call the cops on him for stalking. And why do they eat the sandwich he gives them? Some crazy stalker in a smiling mask hands me a sandwich, the LAST thing I would do is eat it!
10/15/05- I hate school zones that list times, not everyone has a clock in their car that works. The best school zones are the ones that say 'when children are present. After all, the whole point of school zones is to protect the kids, if they aren't around then it is pointless to have to go 20 mph.
10/13/05- I truly hate spiders. I would have to say they are one of the nastiest things on this planet. Now that the cold is here, we have spiders trying to come in from the cold. I am scared to death of these little creepies and I cannot wait until they are gone!
10/12/05- I saw some really good movies today; the first is In Good Company. This is a very sweet movie about older people and how 'big business' effects them. I thought this would be a movie downing on big companies and telling us how evil corporations are, but it's not. It does talk about some of the downfalls of major corporations, but it also shows that people get through it and that there are more important things in life.
The second movie is Crash, this film is very powerful. I really liked the message it gave which is basically 'Shit happens- sometimes it's because of race, sometimes it's in spite of it.' This movies says things that should have been said a long time ago, but most are too afraid to go there. This film does go there and it sends out a very powerful message.
10/6/05- I honestly have been updating the site, but I ran into some computer problems that I did not have time to fix until today, sorry about the delay.
10/5/05- Has anyone else been as puzzled about the random new nickels as I was? I found out that they have been changing the nickel every six months to commemorate the anniversaries of the Louisiana Purchase and the Lewis and Clark expedition. I think the nickel was just jealous of the new quarters. Apparently the next new nickel will have a picture of Jefferson smirking to show an 'optimistic president' on a coin. I saw the picture and he still isn't smiling, but it does look neat.
10/3/05- I know it's been awhile, but I've been working. It really got cold quick! Just for the record, I hate the cold!
9/27/05- I found out that I missed the October Fest here, silly me, I thought it would be in October.
9/20/05- If they have a way to make glare-free glasses, why don't they use the same technology on windshields?
9/19/05- I stepped out for a cigarette about 4:30 am and I saw something flying around near the top of the building. I was trying to determine if it was a bat or a night bird (I can never remember if night hawks or nightingales are indigenous to this area). Then I realized that it was technically morning. So it may just be an early bird out to get his worm. That struck me as terribly funny.
9/16/05- When did Nick at Night stop showing older shows? It seems like the only shows that are on now are from the late 80's and early 90's. Where's my I love Lucy???!!!
9/15/05- So many September Birthday's, so little time! Happy Birthday to all!
9/8/05- Is it just me or does Ovaltine sound like tea or a fiber supplement more than it sounds like chocolate milk?
9/5/05- Sorry it has taken so long for me to update, but I have been working. Once I get my schedule situated you will see more updates.
8/29/05- I was watching t.v. today and I must say that it is refreshing to see that reality tv looks like it's on the downward slope.
8/25/05- Here it is...prepare to be amazed! Click here for a picture of a genuine bigfoot
8/25/05- I will be posting a picture of a bigfoot that I came across sometime today. Check back for a site the will amaze and disgust you all at once!
8/21/05- Things I like about Veet Hair Remover: It actually works! It only takes 6 minutes a section. It doesn't burn to use it. It works everywhere that I've tried it. It doesn't dry out my skin. It's easy to remove.
Things I don't like about Veet: It is expensive. There isn't much in a can. The hair grows back just as fast as if you shaved. It gives you little red bumps sometimes.
817/05- I am so sick of hearing about the high gas prices. Is there really anyone left out there who doesn't know how high they are? Do we really need to discuss them every five seconds? Yes, they suck, but bitching about them over and over is not helping to lower them. I'm starting to wish we HAD gone to Iraq for oil. King Soopers (a grocery store) is doing a great promotion, you spend $100 and get $0.10 off a gallon. It would be nice if more companies would jump on that bandwagon.
I wish we would get further with processing ethanol. Let's face it, it's not hard to grow corn and we don't really need it for food. It comes out in the exact shape that it went in, how much nutrition are we REALLY getting from it (seriously, what's that about)? Ethanol would be cheaper and more environmentally friendly. So what's holding us back? Let's get with the getting!
8/15/05- The kids are back in school, hooray! Things are as they should be!
8/9/05- I have decided that the song 'Simply Irresistible' is about a woman who had plastic surgery. The lyric that says : 'she's so fine, there's no telling where the money went' what else could he be talking about? Also, 'She used to look good to me, but now I find her simply irresistible.' So she was pretty, then she had some work done and now she's gorgeous.
8/3/05- Which is more important: convenience or security? I would have to say security, and I would hope that most people would agree, but apparently not. I am so sick of people not checking my ID when I make a credit card purchase. The excuse is always that people get annoyed at having to show their ID. Who cares!? You should always have an ID on you, so it shouldn't really take an extra effort to pull out your ID with your credit card. Do it and stop complaining, because some of us out there would rather have them checked. Let's face it, you'll want them to check your ID when your card gets stolen and people are buying things with it.
8/2/05- I am completely addicted to Yahoo games, I play them all of the time. I wonder if they offer a game patch- like one of those little slide puzzles that I could stick to my arm. Hmmm I should market that idea...
7/31/05- I have been absent for a few days due to me and my computer being out of commission. We are now both fine and working in harmony, so look for more harmonious postings to come.
Have you all seen the Robert Tilton 'Farting Preacher' videos? They are some of the funniest, most childish things ever! I found the mother-load when it comes to the longest of these videos here: http://www.ammodumpradio.com/funstuff_tilton.asp the whole site is pretty funny too.
7/27/05- I remember when people used to come to my site, it was great! Thanks to all who still read my ramblings, more to come.
7/24/05- I know I haven't posted anything for awhile, it's hard to think of anything but: IT'S SOO HOT! But we got a little rain yesterday, so perhaps my brain will start working again.
7/14/05- So my official ruling on DiGionro is as follows: It's NOT delivery... but it is tasty, though not better than all other oven pizzas.
7/9/05- I hate when people sit in the smoking section and then glare at me for smoking. If you don't want to be around smoke, don't sit in the section. Especially here in Greeley, people have many restaurants they can go to that don't allow smoking at all.
7/6/05- We went to see War of the Worlds yesterday, I must say that I was not too impressed. I wasn't expecting too much from it, so I wasn't really let down. I'll tell you, Dakota Fanning is quite the little actress. I am amazed by that girl, she is so talented!
One part of the movie that REALLY got on my nerves was that there was an electromagnetic pulse that wiped out the power to everything -including battery powered watches, yet when the aliens arrived a guy was taping it with a video camera! I don't think that I'm giving anything away with the film since pretty much everyone is familiar with the novel and knows that it's about aliens.
This may be a movie that you want to see, but I suggest waiting for DVD. It is a rentable film, but not really worth the big screen.
7/8/05- Dead Like Me Season 2 is coming out the 19th, whoo hoo!
7/2/05- I tried the Veet Hair Removal System today. It works pretty well, much better than Nair. My legs kind of burned a bit, but what can you do? The little fake razor thing is pointless, I think they just wanted us to feel like we were shaving so they included it. I used it at first and quickly realized that it takes a long time to remove the hairs with that little piece of rubber, yes it's rubber -fake blades made of rubber. I decided to try a warm washcloth instead and boy it was faster. I didn't feel at all cheated of the experience of running a blade (whether rubber or not) across my legs. I must be a bigger person than some, I mean spiritually, this is not a time for fat jokes.
6/29/05- I hate commercials that insult your intelligence. It makes me truly not want to buy the product. For example: There is a commercial out there where they debate which is better; more house, less money or less house, more money. Who the hell would debate that? Why even make the commercial? Are they trying to rope in the two people out there who would actually buy a tiny house for a shit-load of money as opposed to a large house that is cheaper?
6/25/05- So is the sun good for you or bad for you? If I go in the sun, then I run the risk of getting skin cancer. If I don't go in the sun then I may develop a vitamin D deficiency which could lead to obesity, diabetes and bone disease. Hmm, which one is more desirable?
6/22/05- Figs look weird and Fig Newton's are gross.
6/20/05- I figured that I should write something in light of my dramatic post from yesterday. Why does oven pizza taste so different from delivered pizza? And will I really NOT know that it's not delivery, it's DiGiorno? I'm nervous to find out.
6/19/05- We went to the park today and I was eaten alive by mosquitoes. So if I die from The West Nile, there will not be further postings.
6/19/05- The problem with 'Random Thoughts' is they are just that...random! I get all of these great ideas for things to write while I'm away from my computer, by the time I get back to it, I forget. Maybe I need to keep a little notebook with me at all times.
6/16/05- What happened to video games? We have an Xbox and it's so hard to find different games. I used to love Super Nintendo. Some of my favorite games were: Rock and Roll Racing, Vegas Stakes, Super Mario Cart, and EVO. It's hard to find fun games like this now-a-days. It seems that all there are are sports games war games and games based off of movies/T.V. Shows. When I look through the games, I hardly ever see games that even look fun. Grr! Make fun games again!
6/14/05- I figured that I should not start this page off blank. Hmmm... Michael Jackson, I always thought he was innocent of child molestation. I think he is living the childhood that he didn't get a chance to get. He sees himself as a child, therefore, sees nothing wrong with sharing a bed with other children and such. While I think this is inappropriate, I do not think he should go to jail for it. I think he needs to realize that he IS an adult and that he CANNOT get away with doing things with children that other kids can do.
